FAQ's

Are bed linens and towels included in the Vacation Rental Fees?

Yes, all vacation rentals include sheets for every bed and sofa bed, bath, hand, and face towels,
pool or beach towels, and kitchen linens.

Is there WiFi offered in each rental? Does it cost extra?

Yes, every vacation rental in our inventory offers free WiFi.

How much money is due and when?

100% of the rental fee is due upfront to reserve your dates. The money is held in an escrow account until the end of your stay.

Can you hold a place for me for a few days, a week, or until I decide?

We do not hold dates as a rule. Our rental agreements can be accepted electronically or via fax. We offer online bookings and accept eChecks and major credit cards for your convenience

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 60 days of your arrival are non-refundable. Refunds outside of this policy are at our sole discretion.

We are really neat people, can we clean the place ourselves and skip the normal cleaning fee?

No, we ensure that each guest has the best vacation rental experience possible, which includes our professional cleaning service. We ask that guests wipe up, gather the linens, and put out the trash as outlined in the Welcome Letter

Will you consider a small dog / declawed cat / well-behaved hairless dog / etc.?

If a vacation rental is pet-friendly, it will be indicated in the advertisement and listing. If it states no pets, it means absolutely no pets.

Can we smoke on the balcony, the patio, with the windows open?

No, all units offered by Sunshine Vacation Rentals are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on our properties. Some locations also enforce no smoking policies on their grounds. Smoking in a unit is cause for immediate eviction and forfeiture of your deposit.

Can we bring one more person than the guest limit and have them sleep on the floor? Does a baby (toddler, etc.) count towards the guest limit?

No, our occupancy limits are strict with no exceptions. This ensures our properties remain well-maintained and keeps our neighbors, owners, and homeowners associations happy.

Do I have to pay the tourism fee or hotel tax? I saw listings on VRBO that do not collect tax.

Yes, our vacation rentals comply with all City, County, Tourism Districts, Hotel, and Business tax and license requirements.

What time is check-in? What time is check-out?

Check-in is any time after 4 PM. Please do not arrive early, as we need time to prepare your vacation home. Check-out is at 10 AM sharp. We need this time to prepare the rental for the next guest.

Can we have early check-in or late departure?

During peak season, early check-in and late departure are not available due to back-to-back rentals. At other times, we may be able to arrange this for a small fee, which compensates our staff for adjusting their schedules or hiring additional help. Please do not request early arrivals or late departures on the day of, as we will not be able to accommodate you, and you will be charged an extra day's rent for late departures.

Will you take a lower rate for our stay?

Our prices are firm and fair. We occasionally offer last-minute specials and encourage you to sign up for our email list, follow us on Facebook, or visit our website often for vacation rental specials.

You state a 3 (or more) night minimum. Will you make an exception?

Exceptions depend on the unit, season, owner, and circumstances. We encourage you to inquire.

Do you have Cribs?

We have a Pack N Play in the closet for your use.
